What is real here

This site republishes coupons that community deal sites posted publicly. It writes none of its own, sells nothing, takes no commission, and is not affiliated with any deal community or retailer.

Where they come from

A single fetch reads the public RSS feeds listed in feeds.json — Slickdeals, DealNews, HotUKDeals, RedFlagDeals, mydealz, Preisjäger, Dealabs, Chollometro, Pepper, PromoDescuentos, OzBargain, Cheapies and others — normalises RSS and Atom into one list and caches it for ten minutes. No API keys are involved, which is why the pipeline cannot quietly stop working when a key expires. The same wire runs bargains.llc, which keeps every deal; this site keeps the coupons.

On the last fetch, 28 of 28 feeds answered, giving 264 coupons of which 50 carry a code.

The thing this site refuses to guess

The feeds do not publish a retailer. That is awkward on a domain called company.coupons, and it is exactly why it matters. Measured against a live fetch of 820 posts, only 19 titles carried anything shaped like a company name, and pulling it out produced “Iphone 17”, “McCain Potato Smiles 454G” and “The Blood of Dawnwalker” — products, not companies.

So no coupon here is filed under a company. Each is filed under the community that posted it and the country it is for, and a seller is named only where the post itself names one. A wrong company beside a coupon code would be worse than no company at all.

What a code is, and is not

Some feeds put the code in a field of its own; many do not. Where a value is present it is shown only if it looks like a code — of the 83 values in that field on the last fetch, 50 passed. The rest were words scraped out of a description: Awesome, Celebrating, Chemist, Exclusions, Hotels. Printing those as coupon codes would waste your time at the checkout, so they are dropped.

A code can still be dead. These are community posts, not merchant feeds: a code may have expired, been regional, or never worked. The page shows what was posted and when — the judgement is yours.

What was here before

This domain previously carried a page headed “Updated live • 142,891 coupons active today”, with a LIVE COMMUNITY IMPACT panel reading $4.9M SAVED TODAY, 89k COUPONS USED, 347 NEW DEALS TODAY and 184k+ happy savers this month, describing coupons “updated hourly by our deal hunters” and using the word verified sixty-two times.

The page made no network requests at all. Every one of those figures was typed into the HTML. There were no deal hunters, no savings and no verification. It has been removed rather than restyled or kept behind a noindex, because a page asserting that people saved millions of dollars is not a design artefact worth preserving.

Counting

Every number on this site is counted from the current fetch when the page is served — there is no stored total and nothing accumulates. If the wire fails, the pages say the wire is quiet rather than showing a reassuring number.
